This was my sisters wedding that I was asked to capture for them in a private ceremony held on Jim's family property.
This was a surprise wedding so the only one's that knew were their close family and of course the guest in attendance.
Enjoy :-)
I've been trying to catch up on my blogging to keep you all up to date with all these amazing weddings I get the chance to capture.

I know I've been pretty slack with my blogging lately so I am trying to catch up.
I had the chance to photograph the stunning and beautiful Ellen for a model portfolio (whom I've know since she was 6) and wow didn't this lady know how too rock her session and has been the only adult I've had so far that has wanted to use the kids little prop pink lounge and she pulled it off in style. I love Ellen's style and personality and she truly knows how to rock any pose I threw at her. Thank you to my wonderful professional hair & makeup team Taneka & Erin for another awesome job. If you would like to book your own modelling portfolio session please contact via the contact tab or phone on 0422055682 { Please feel free to tag, comment or share my images, please don't crop or remove my watermark in anyway or apply filters to these images. Kristy came into the session with her own strong fun ideas and instead of my bright colors she wanted a darker feel too her images, I am pretty sure we cover that, I did throw a little bit of color in. Kristy is based on the Mid North Coast of NSW, you can find her doing the most amazing pieces of art on people's bodies at Wildfire in Port Macquarie but be sure too book quick as she books out. Thank-you for allowing me too shoot this fun session and I hope you all enjoy them. Mel I had my sister in the studio last week for her boudoir session, although I think It was really only so she could get her hair & makeup done by my awesome team for a hens night out on the town, smart move.
Mother of three under 5 and still killing it. There are no excuses so stop giving yourself them, take a chance on YOU for a change, book your session today, you wont be sorry. Mel x So you have finally booked that boudoir session you have been wanting to do for ages, well ladies I have done a little research along with my own experiences and put together a guide of how to prepare for your session, the DO'S and DONT'S so to speak, enjoy the read and if you think I have missed anything out feel free to message me and I will add in. DO'S & DONT'SWe want you to look and feel your best throughout your session so here are some helpful tips to keep mind; Do have lingerie that fits you properly & don't wait until last minute if shopping for new items. Do wear matching nail polish on fingers and toes or clear polish (Get a pro manicure & pedicure). Do moisturize your skin in the morning (do not use moisturizer with sunscreen). Do your hair the way you like it before arriving unless you booked professional hair & makeup. Do bring a few outfits to be photographed in. Extra stockings in case of a run. Do use pantyhose instead of thigh high's for larger legs. Large diamond fishnet pantyhose work great! Do bring sexy high heels, thigh high boots also look awesome. Do shave legs, underarms etc. the night before. If waxing so so at least 48 hours in advance. Do tan to get rid of unsightly tan lines at least two weeks in advance if its noticeable in your outfits. Do bring a boyfriend/husbands shirt & tie, guitar, helmet, jacket, surfboard etc. Be creative! Do bring enough outfits for your session. It's always better to have more than less. Do bring some fun items like roller skates, funky hats, unique clothing or furry stuff! Do stretch before you come in so your flexiable as possible (extremely important, boudoir sessions are a workout). Do wash hair the night before your session, so its fresh and clean for hair dresser. Don't get a spray on tan, it can leave dark spots in your pores & usually leaves streaks on hands and feet. Don't drink alcohol the night before since it is dehydrating and will show on your skin. Don't wear any make-up to your session (unless you're not getting a pro makeover of course). Don't wear tight fitting clothing to your shoot because it will leave marks they can take hours to disappear. (Example: tigh bra straps; elastic waistband; socks; tight panties; or even a watch is a no no) Don't be nervous or stressed (extremely important for great pics!) and have a blast. If you break out the night before don't be nervous, you'll make it worse & we can hide anything! Don't wait until you get to the studio to cut all lingerie tags off especially the ones sewn into the fabric. (Please remove all tags at home to save time). And material with texture like fishnet, fur, latex & animal print photograph well. Feel free to call with any questions you may have prior to your photo shoot. Additional helpful tipsRemove price stickers from the bottom of shoes. Loved one a police officer, fire fighter, military ect....? Bring his hat/shirt. Fishnet pantyhose with "large" diamond holes are slimming on larger legs. Do not bring oily lotion's or sparkels to studio, it's a mess and damaging. If you don't like your arms or shoulders try bringing a robe or an off the shoulder sweater. Cowboy hats and animal print photograph really well and are very sexy. Make sure you check the bottom of your feet and give them a good clean, bring slippers with you to your session. If you don't have any just bring ankle socks. 12 ways to Slim Down Fast If a few extra kilo's are weighing heavily on your mind consider these options. Shoes can lengthen legs especially nude shoes with nude stockings and black shoes with black stockings. A thinner heel and sole will lend to a slimmer overall look. Avoid chunky heels and ankle straps. Necklaces trim neck size and chest. Long necklaces elongate your look especially when paired with a V-neck top or bras. Avoid chokers and other short necklaces. BLING Earrings Bracelets Necklaces Rings (engagement, wedding, other) OTHER MUST HAVES Garters Bridal Veil Pasties Cozy Sweater *Text copyright goes to Artistic Images Photography* Today I had the super fun and vibrant Shaarn in the studio for a awesome boudoir session, This lovely young lady had me in awe of her, here is a beautiful young lady who works hard for her body, and I think she may of just convinced me to get back to the gym to start working on my own.
Thankyou for Shaarn for coming along and rocking your session and allowing me to share. As a women and a mother myself I know how important it is to not forget about "me". As mother's, wife's & girlfriends we always tend to put every body else's needs and wants before our so before we know it we are standing there thinking whe...n is it going to be all about me or someone pamper me for a change, its so important to take time out and recharge sometimes so that we can do and be our best for our children and partners.
I had Mahalia (Mother of one) in today and what I love about this was her partner contacting me a few weeks ago to book her in for a boudoir session as her valentines gift, how beautiful is that. Mahalia is such a beautiful and strong women with of course her fair share of rocky paths along the way, but too push all those things aside and rock this session like a true cover model I am absolutely blown away by her and she is a true inspiration to us all. We often think and tell our self's that "No I cant do a session like that", "I am too old" or "I need to lose weigh first" or "no I've had a baby and I hate my tummy", right??? Nope wrong you can embrace those marks that were left there from your child, embrace your age, cause lets face it we don't get younger we age, and embrace your body and your curve no matter what shape or size you are, step up no and say I can do this and I will, I have experienced all that my women experience in a boudoir session can I did one myself and let me tell you it was the most amazing and empowering experience I have ever gone through. Be you and look amazing while doing it. Thankyou too Mahalia for sharing your story, beauty and strength with myself and my amazing team Erin-Makeup artist and Taneke-Hair stylist you rocked your session and I had a blast.
