Earlier this year I had the lovely Alaine in from Alaine Ylias Photography in for a one on one mentoring session learning natural and Off camera lighting, we were not only blessed with the most amazing and stunning location on a private property but we were also blessed with some beautiful models to help practice on and Elise was one of them at 33 weeks pregnant and looking ever so radiant and glowing like any new first time mum does, "a moment in my tummy, forever in my heart" would have to sum up the feeling.

Not only were we getting eaten alive by the mozzies there but she was super keen to do anything that I asked of her, "here take you clothes off, lets put this wrap on you", or "can you please sit on this log, but please don't fall in", I can be quite bossy out on shoots but its only cause I want the best for you :-)

Thankyou Elise for modelling for myself and Aliane and I am looking forward to meeting your little man one day.

Today I had the ever so cute Master Nash in the studio. I can't remember the last time I held a baby so tiny, or at least he felt that way, he came into my studio wide awake and was determined to not go to sleep and only wanted to look around, in the end we won and he went to the land on zzzzzz, the first image of the truck was a special request from mum & dad who brought this in with them, it took us a while to get him settled enough to go in there but daddy had the magic touch today and off too sleep he went.




Giving birth to your child is one off the most amazing experiences a women can have, we first carry this amazing little human around with us for 9 months feeling kicks, hiccups and lots of movement, we than give birth only to lay eyes on this sweet little human who feels like a stranger at the same time but yet the love we feel for this child the moment we see them is unbelievable, to be first time parents just adds to the excitement even more.




Nash you were a true trooper though your session with plenty of poo moments (mostly on mum) and your wee moments (again on mum) but you pulled off all your poses with style.
